AIA Seattle Congratulates FutureShack 2011 Selected Projects

Six local projects recognized for their forward-thinking approach to urban living

What is the future of urban living and where does architecture fit in? A team of four jurors, featuring design professionals and non-design professionals, joined 200+ attendees and moderator Daniel Friedman FAIA, Dean of the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments of to discuss the future of residential design. Jurors highlighted six projects for their forward-thinking strategies that soared beyond typical residential design. The presentation was held at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion this past weekend.
